free banner or header design from love your way design and wedding blog giveaway

I shouldn’t have to introduce Louise of Thirty-Something Bride, but just in case I do: Louise is awesome. That’s what you should know. She blogs about unfake weddings and unfake engagement shoots with delightful snarky commentary on the wedding industry and what makes the world of weddings tough terrain to navigate.

She is also the owner of the beautiful bridal accessory line TruLu Couture. Becca of A Los Angeles Love just ranted and raved about her beautiful hairflower and if you need any more convincing, just keep scrolling down.

Louise has so kindly offered one of her beautiful white hairflowers for a giveaway and we’re really excited to bring it to you.

What you can win:

Hand sewn floral hair fascinator made with ivory velvet and chiffon petals. Accented with ivory chenille dotted Russian tulle, vintage (20+ years) dotted Swiss tulle and ivory tulle. The center is a vintage pearl and rhinestone button. The back is finished in ivory felt and comes with a nickle plated alligator clip as well as a pin for an alternate styling option.

How to get on your body:

  • Check out Louise’s shop and come back and tell us what your favorite piece in her shop is in the comments.
  • We’re not about stacking up comments on giveaways, but because Louise is an awesome gal and deserves as much support from the community that she can get, like her on TruLu Couture’s facebook, come back and let us know you followed her to get another entry into the giveaway.

The Details:

Because Louise is a hard-working sole proprietor and shipping is expensive, yo, the contest is only available to winners from the United States. The item will be shipped to the winner at no cost to them straight from Louise. The winner will be chosen via random number generator. Louise has even offered free shipping to anyone who enters the giveaway. I’ll give you the deets on how to claim that when we declare the winner. The deadline to enter the giveaway is Friday, June 24th, 2011 at 6:00pm CST.

What an amazing giveaway! I also love the Theodora headband, as it would make such a statement with my curly hair! My fingers are crossed.

First, how have I never found Thirty Something Bride?!?! Louise is kind of the coolest person I don’t know.

And second, is it any surprise that I think the Gidget veil is totally adorable? I think not.

Hope you guys had a wonderful weekend, darling!

I love the Clementine headband! I wonder if it could come in orangy-peach, and be a gift for my maid of honor?

Also Liked on Facebook, because this stuff is worth spreading around.

Um, I’m not getting married (already did that), but Louise, I just want to say, that I freaking love everything on your site. Like, that veil? I don’t even LIKE traditional veils, and I want to get married again just so I can wear that. You’ve converted me on veils. You don’t understand how huge that is.

The Eleanor Veil is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! I am getting married, next year, in a chapel that is almost 200 years old. Antique elegance will be the theme for the ceremony, and that veil is the epitomy of such. Can’t say enough amazing things about Louise’s work! You go, girl!

Honestly, the item being given away is my absolute favorite and JUST what I’ve been looking for! But, if I had to pick another item from the shop that I love, it would be the Millicent Fascinator.
