Instagramination: Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo

by lizzie & isaiah on February 8, 2012 · 4 comments

You guys. We went to a rodeo. We are so not Fort Worthians and going to a rodeo and saying “ya’ll” were the only things separating ourselves from being Texans. Now there’s only “ya’ll” protecting us from full integration.

Help.

I am going to share some photos from our Instagram account over the next week while I’m cheeks-deep in wedding details, writing projects and cleaning my apartment. Cool? Cool.

I remember my first y’all. I was 12 years old and had been living in Arkansas for like three months, and it was at recess. And I said “wait up, y’all!” and then clamped my hand over my mouth and realized it was over for me.

It is just a matter of time….we WILL have you. Drink the sweet tea. It’s good…Y’ALL.

And truly, the real test of a confirmed Texan is for you to tell me what immediately pops into your head when I do THIS:
“THE STARS AT NIGHT, ARE BIG AND BRIGHT….”

We’re taking the kids to their first rodeo this month, so I totally get this.

Also, I want to know what your wedding projects are. Really badly. Because I’ve been waiting for YEARS for you to get to the actual planning stuff. :D

This. Is. Amazing. Why haven’t I gotten anyone to take me to the rodeo yet?!
