friday die edition #9: smoke that cigarette

by lizzie & isaiah on December 9, 2011 · 6 comments

My car is in the shop. It’s really cold. I didn’t have a heater for the last three weeks. I swear I have felt like this all week. I’ve been in a perpetual state of “I need a cigarette” and it shows. Here’s to a better week than the last!

ANOTHER FRIDAY. Thanksgiving has come and gone and WTF, guys. What’s happening? There’s not enough time in the week anymore. For some reason, this year, I was more shocked by the Thanksgiving decorations being out than the holiday stuff. I always expect Christmas to explode into October and November…but Thanksgiving, well, it usually creeps up on me. It’s pretty weird. I’m not over it.

Here are some things that I’ve been dying over this week:

I may or may not have freaked out on Alyssa recently when she told me the weekend after this weekend is Thanksgiving. Oops. I did. The seasons, you guys, I swear.

For now, enjoy the latest things that have made me want to die from jealousy.

Apparently, the weeks are only made up of Fridays now… Here’s a couple of posts I wrote elsewhere this week if you want to catch up:

Why We Get to Say “Fuck” and You Don’t – on staying true to your brand
Modern Etiquette (Is Nonexistent) – on the public incivility of humans toward smokers

SERIOUSLY. It’s always Friday. It’s ridiculous. It’s never Monday. Never Tuesday. C’mon. I stayed up late digging through all of my bookmarks for the week for you. I hope you like them. I don’t have flowers or nothin’…

PHEW. This week has been a whirlwind of stress and excitement. Have I mentioned I’m the type of person who has to know what’s going on? I don’t have to control it by any means. But I like to know about it. Until I do, I feel some weird deep-rooted agony. It’s very dramatic. Anyway, [...]
